Bridget Beck

Bridget Beck began her artistic journey creating with stained glass and working her way up to fused and slumped glass.  Eventually finding herself herself with an abundance of scrap glass she could not bring herself to throw out, she took a class in lampworking with the intent of using her scraps. One class was all it took to fall in love and begin her life long addiction to the art of creating handcrafted glass beads.

Studying with world renowned lampwork artists such as Sharon Peters, Jim Smircich and Doug Remshneider, left an imprint on her styles and skills, as well as an affinity toward the odd and unusual.  But in the 10 years she has been creating, her designs have taken on a style all their
own and she herself has become a master lampworker.

Bridget's work has been published in Bead Unique Magazine and featured several times in the local media.
